TY-3550B 50W Kuband digital outdoor transmitter is a kind of wireless digital TV signal transmission device newlydeveloped by TYE. It works on Ku band (10.7 -12.7 GHz or customized frequency), and output power 50W. The outdoor type adopts water-proof structure, modularization design and high poweroutput. Comparing to the BUC module, there are power unit and monitor unitinside. The series transmitter can be widely used in wireless point to pointsignal transmission system and omni-directional transmission system. It appliesto multiple digital modulation modes DVB-S/S2 and can be used for multi-channeldigital TV signal coverage over a range of 50km. Today, this kind oftransmitter offers the best technical proposal which can replace MMDS signal coverage.

Difference between transmitter and BUC

· Transmitter is composed by a few PA modulesincluding BUC and other units, BUC is just a PA unit (Block up converter).

· Transmitter has a stable power supply unit,with AC power supply, BUC supports outside DC power supply.

· Transmitter has monitor unit, if something iswrong, it can be alarmed timely.

· Transmitter has good air cooling fans, BUChas no cooling fans.

· Transmitter is N type output connecter, BUCis WR75/BJ120 output connecter.

· Ku transmitter has indoor type and outdoortype for option, and outdoor type transmitter can be used both in room and inair, BUC can only be used in air.

· On structure, with air cooling fans powersupply unit, transmitter is designed in big size with solid structure; BUC isdesigned in small size with light weight.
